Did you know? GriefShare at Good Shepherd is offering a special group event
"Surviving the Loss of a Spouse" on Sunday, December 11th from 5-7 pm. You may sign up here.

The holidays can be a very challenging time for anyone who has lost a love one. GriefShare is willing to do another "Surviving the Holidays" event if we have a group interested in participating in a special two hour meeting before the holidays. Please call or text Delores at 704.307.7301 if you are interested in this special event.

A new 13-week GriefShare Cycle begins on Sunday, January 22, 2023 through April 16, 2023 from 5 to 7 pm. Sign up here or call James Beery at 704.968.8201 for additional information.

Volunteers needed for Room In The Inn! We are asking for Volunteers to help with "Room In The Inn" (RITI) at Good Shepherd on Fridays during the months of December - March. We need volunteers to help with table setting at 3 pm and/or bed making at 4 pm -- both are daytime events which require less than an hour. If you would like to help with the table setting at 3 pm on Fridays, please call or text Delores at 704.3077301. More opportunities to serve are available on the RITI webpage or call Kristi Smith: 704.817.5833. Truly, we are blessed as we bless others!

Out & About COVID Practices

  • Masks are encouraged when attending all Out & About Ministry events (especially movies and on and off premises luncheons). Please wear your mask to protect our members that have underlying health conditions.
  • As long as COVID and the contagious variants are spreading, we will continue social distancing and sanitizing as much as possible.
  • If Out & About should have a COVID related incident, all Out & About activities will be suspended until the Church approves a restart date.
  • If you are sick or not feeling well, please stay at home. We want to remain healthy while we enjoy being together at each event.
